As executive director, Patricia is the lead strategist responsible for creating the
integrated communications plans for BaySide's clients. She develops the editorial
direction and follows the projects from implementation through completion. With a
unique expertise in both editorial and publishing, Schnaidt can maximize the connections
between reader and customers.
Schnaidt has held top publishing and editorial positions at InternetWeek, Network Computing, Windows Magazine and LAN Magazine. As Vice President/Publisher of InternetWeek, Schnaidt architected the turnaround of the brand, building a $40 million business in print, online, events and research. She grew the InternetWeek conference and event revenue from $0 to $2 million in 18 months. She developed the InternetWeek.com community through e-mail newsletters, Web events and forums. Under her leadership, Network Computing redefined the industry standard for enterprise IT product testing. As founding editorial director of Miller Freeman's Network Group, Schnaidt launched and directed a variety of technology publications and was the editor-in-chief of LAN Magazine. Schnaidt has written hundreds of articles, lectured extensively, and authored "Enterprise-wide Networking" (Prentice-Hall). She holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Columbia College, Columbia University. |
